When readers last saw the Off-white cousins (in 2016's Bone Finale), the terzetto was beginning to head indorse to their hometown aft their Hobbit-esque journey in the original Bone series. While they were on their way back home, the floor ended before showing them actually returning.

"We have a few stories in the can," Smith continues. "And I'm doing this with Tom Sniegoski again. We had a lot of merriment doing that. We laughed a deal out. But that volition fill a couple of eld. I'm working thereon, merely not immediately."

"So much of it was whole unthought," Smith says. "Just the biggest thing has to be the jump to YA graphic novels. Having Cram cost in those little Educational institution catalogs you old to get when you were in school...That had to be the biggest, nearly amazing thing."

The comics industry has changed tremendously since 1991, especially outside the handed-down 'Big Ii' of Marvel and DC with the growth of the booktrade market. With so umteen parvenu ways to share comics, let alone devising comics, Smith tells Newsarama he almost can't even recognize information technology anymore.

"IT changed so radically that I almost john't even recognize it," says Smith. "Everything some it. Graphic novels existed, just they were truly not generally thought of the way we think of them today. Where you actually keep them in stock like you would a regular book. Back then, they were more equivalent a magazine."
