How To Clean Up Bookmarks In Chrome

Bookmarks are your saved links or favorites on Google Chrome. They offer a convenient and faster way to visit your commonly used websites. You don't need to remember the exact address or URL in order to get to a page. All you have to do is bring out your bookmarks and select from there.

    Launch Google Chrome. Look for Google Chrome on your computer and open it. The web browser will load.

    Go to Bookmark Manager. Click on the button with three horizontal lines at the upper right corner. This will bring out a submenu. Look for "Bookmarks," then select "Bookmark Manager."

    • You can also directly go to this page by entering "chrome://bookmarks/" in the address bar of your browser.

    View your bookmarks. The Bookmark Manager page will load with all your bookmarks and folders displayed on the left panel. The right panel displays the titles of the bookmarks under every folder. You can organize your bookmarks here.

    Open a bookmark. Double-click on a bookmark to open it under a new tab. You will be brought to the website directed by the bookmark.

    At the far right of the search bar, there should be a star. Click on that, and you have created a bookmark. Alternately, you can press CTRL-D on windows, or CMD-D on Mac

    Are you sure you didn't delete the bookmark? Be careful not to click the "Remove" button on the Add sheet.

    Copy and paste the shortcuts in the Bookmark Browser (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+O) from the folder. Then paste at the "Bookmark Bar" folder on the tree.

    Go to Bookmark Browser ... (upper-right)> Export Bookmarks. Also, if you sign in with a Google Account, sign back in. It'll make much more sense to you that way.
